Important Updates.
Things are changing quickly here at Castles Education and we thought it wise to update you here, for ease of access and transparency. Please update your records if you need to.
TELEPHONE CHANGES:
As our new Scunthorpe location is so perfect we decided to make that our ‘Lead School’ in terms of administration and shared services. As such it will now also host a centralised administration team who will support all of our locations from one office.
All initial enquiries should now be made through a single telephone location (on 01724 407112 ) in the first instance regardless of which school you are contacting us about. This will help us deal with your enquiries more quickly and consistently and direct you to the right person first time.
Unless you have been advised otherwise, all of our previously advertised numbers including our Manchester number should no longer be used.
OFFICE CHANGES:
We are tidying up our estate and strive always to have the best, most useful, cost effective and efficient locations we can find. This summer allowed us to make some significant improvements:
Bartle House - You may have noticed we had an office in central Manchester. No? Don’t worry - not many people did. This building was a legacy from our original formation some years ago and no longer fits with our plans or future direction. Bartle House will no longer form part of our business estate and its details have therefore been removed from our website, correspondence and other documentation.
Registered Office Address Change - We have worked with our Accountant from the very beginning of our various business and education ventures. They have been pivotal to our success and this change of registered office address is simply the result that they themselves have moved offices and so we have gone with them. All of our businesses are registered together and this address is simply used for formal and legal correspondence as required in UK law. You will see our new registered office address in the footer of each website page.
Shelford Street (Scunthorpe) - We have moved our Scunthorpe school and are now operating from our new setting within the John Leggott College campus. This is an amazing location from which to grow our Scunthorpe provision and to support the surrounding authorities with bigger and better premises. We are live in our new location now and our old Shelford Street building has been returned to our landlord.
Centralised Support Services - As mentioned above (under ‘Telephone Changes’) we are now operating a combined administration and support service from a single office located in our new Scunthorpe site. This combined office will lead on all day to day administration matters including attendance for all of our schools in a more efficient and joined up way.
All future key correspondence should therefore be directed to this location. Detailed locations, addresses and contact information can be found here.
NB: We would stress that there has been no loss of jobs at either location through our implementation of these changes, in fact just the opposite.
TEAM CHANGES:
You will see from our ‘People’ page that there have been some significant changes to our team with new Teachers, Job Promotions, LBM’s and Support staff not to mention our first teaching Apprenticeship recruited from our 2020 cohort of school leavers.
Some of our staff have moved on to new challenges and more new faces have joined us. Our continued expansion has brought significant growth and a doubling of our staff and job numbers, an incredible success story in such a short period of time.
All of these changes are designed to help us deliver better outcomes to those in our care and build on our service promise to you.
